The Mistral range is the next generation of air-cooled condensers in horizontal and V-shaped designs that covers cooling capacities from 5kW up to 2600kW and intended for use with standard refrigerants, ammonia, and carbon dioxide. The range offers excellent performance, easy installation and maintenance, and allowing a high level of integration with components of cooling systems.

Outstanding sound characteristics of the fans, low power consumption, a wide selection of refrigerants enable Mistral to be used for a variety of applications, including commercial and industrial refrigeration, process cooling, and air conditioning systems. One of the cornerstones of the Mistral condenser range is the new high efficient heat exchangers with up to 6.5kW/L performance and reduced refrigerant charge.

Refined Heat Exchanger Design

Mistral range features the new heat exchangers with reduced internal volume, high-performance aluminium fins, and inner grooved copper tubes which facilitate a more efficient heat transfer due to the 65% larger inner surface area. The groove’s torsion promotes turbulent flow, resulting in improved inside-the-tube heat transfer characteristics.

Copper tubes manufactured using the new pressure expansion method show significant improvements over traditional mechanical expansion methods and feature better tube-fin contact, higher strength for resisting internal pressure, and improved overall heat transfer performance for a coil.

Available heat exchanger treatments include pre-painted fins,  hydrophilic and hydrophobic coatings, and electrophoretic epoxy paint.

Quiet and Efficient Axial Fans

Customers can choose from the fan motors driven by alternating current (AC) or electronically commutated fan motors (EC); optional fan diffusers and three sound level designs enabling customers the ability to choose a bespoke solution that suits their needs.

Mistral condensers can be supplied in three noise intensity designs: standard, low-noise, and ultra-low noise levels. Low sound emission level allows installation in populated urban areas and in every place where low noise pollution is an essential factor.
